Happy birthday, Favor!

Though we aren't in the same location physically, I am brought comfort knowing a distance in the physical need not equate to a distance in the spiritual. We know that our fellowship is of the Spirit and not after the natural order of things. - I wrote these words in 2017 and every day, they become even truer. I still owe you a gift regardless of this distance and will find a way to get it to you. Now, in spite of the fact that we aren't in close physical proximity, I have had the honor of witnessing your growth over the past couple of years, and each time I reflect, I do not take for granted that I get front row seats to the unfolding of the great work God is doing in you. I have watched you grow in confidence, witnessed you expand your influence, and gain steady footing in your calling. I've seen your voice become more assured of life, of God, of hope; each day, you become a better man than you were the day before.

Thank you for being a great example in your words and actions, of a life lived out in service to God, and love for His people. Your commitment to God, and also to His calling on your life, your persistence in spite of difficulties, and your joyful outlook on life have been an inspiration for me in the past year. You might not know this but I watch the way you respond to things that come your way - your consistency is where I draw strength from on some days. I am so proud to be in your circle not just for who you are today, but for who I'm convinced you are becoming.

2 Corinthians 9:8: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work - this is my prayer for you in this new year, and I look forward to this being manifested in your life. Happy birthday, Twinny!
